Key Responsibilities:
As part of the operations team, provide technical and engineering support to the resin plant. The incumbent is responsible for the equipment, products, and operation of 1-2 reactor systems.
Responsibilities and duties include:
- develop procedures to ensure the safe and efficient production of resins
- monitor and improve existing methods and procedures
- serve as a technical resource including off-shifts and weekends
- ensure compliance with safety policies and operating procedures
- interact effectively with operators, supervisors, mechanics and contractors on a daily basis
- drive cost control, batch quality, and efficient utilization of assets
- identify problems and opportunities for improvement
- recommend solutions and implement corrective actions to improve safety, quality, cost, productivity, and variability
- support production supervision and fill-in as needed
- Work well with technical departments, plant engineering, EHS, operations planning, and quality assurance.
- Program process control PLC and write batch recipes for control system
- Maintain Process Control Computers
- The successful candidate will work well in a team environment and posses strong problem solving skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent along with five to ten years industry experience.
Functional and Technical Skills:

Key Responsibilities:
As part of the operations team, provide engineering support to the resin plant:
- Develop complete and accurate manufacturing logs and procedures that ensure safe, efficient, and cost effective production of resins.
- Monitor and improve methods and procedures.
- Serve as a technical resource for operations, including on-call support during the off-shifts and weekends.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and operating procedures.
- Interact with operators, supervisors, and mechanics on a daily basis. This includes training, coaching, disciplining, and acting on opportunities for improvement.
- Product line responsibility includes cost control, batch quality, efficient utilization of assets, response to off-spec production (disposition, root cause analysis, corrective action).
- Identify problems and opportunities for improvement; recommend solutions and implement corrective actions to improve safety, quality, cost, and productivity. Actively participate in quality improvement process.
- Direct preventative maintenance on reactor systems; design and implement engineering projects related to resin processing and facilities improvement.
- Facilitate the training of operators, supervisors, and other plant personnel.
- Support production supervision and other resin functions. Fill-in for these jobs as needed.
- Function as a technical consultant on resin related issues to other departments and locations.
- Work closely with the Development Center, other resin locations, various technical departments, plant engineering, operations planning, quality assurance, and operations planning.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Are you an energetic retail salesperson with a gift for offering exceptional customer service? This Part-Time Inside Sales position entails developing relationships with a variety of customers and being part of fast-paced, dynamic sales team. If you're interested in long-term, part-time employment, then this may be the job for you!
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide exceptional customer service to regular paint contractors and new customers by offering timely and friendly service.
- Process cash and credit transactions through Point of Sale (POS) terminal.
- Tint paint, match paint and stain colors and make product recommendations to customers. This requires lifting, moving and stocking one and five gallon paint buckets.
- Promote sundry item sales to compliment paint products.
- May occasionally be called on to deliver product to a customer.
- Maintain an understanding of local market, operations based selling and customer base.
- Maintain a neat and orderly store, keeping interior and exterior functional, safe and attractive.
- Abide by all company policies and procedures and maintain safe and ethical working environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates proficient in both English and Spanish are encouraged to apply.
- One to two years of inside sales experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required, some college credit preferred.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of store operations.
- Ability to attend to detail while engaging in work of a repetitive nature.
- Broad knowledge of the application and use of paint and sundries.
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds infrequently and 40 to 60 pounds routiely.
- Requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting, carrying and reaching.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications
