Dematic Corporation has an immediate opening for a Facilities Support 2 at our customer facility located in Pataskala, OH. This position will be responsible for the following duties:
Running the floor scrubber
Changing batteries on the lift trucks
Removing trash from the building
Running the bailers for cardboard and removing bails
Assisting maintenance techs
General cleaning

Job Family Responsibilities:
May participate in facilities and equipment repairs with outside contractors. May support facility inspections. May participate in the monitoring and scheduling of semi-complex facility-related activities, and service/request calls. May Participate in other activities such as sorting and delivering mail, waste paper recycling, operating office equipment (including equipment set-up, operation, routine maintenance), inter-office transportation, stocking of coffee areas, answering phone, greeting and assisting visitors (and arrange for escort, as necessary), responding to general office inquiries via telephone or in person May support in administering semi-complex procedures and systems for visitor control, employee identification, and safeguard of company facilities. May participate semi-complex loss control investigations, and preparing semi-complex accident reports.

Key Responsibilities:
Performs semi-complex work within area of specialization. Interprets documented rules, past practices, or instruction on a semi-independent level. Effectively identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex.

Education:
Typically, HS diploma or equivalent required. Specialized skill training/certification may be required.

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Directs and manages the production and delivery functions in order to ensure that the operational, financial, safety and productivity goals related to these functions are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manages the planning and execution of Production and Dispatch/Scheduling activities ensuring that adjacent processes are smoothly and continuously running, materials waste is minimized and delivery schedules are consistently met.
2. In conjunction with location and regional management develops operating budgets and capital expenditure recommendations in order to meet operational and financial goals for the location.
3. Ensures that process and quality controls are consistently observed; encourages staff recommendations to optimize processes whenever possible.
4. Participates as part of the Schedule Review Team.
5. Manages a department to ensure achievement of functional and budget/financial goals.
6. Supervises assigned employees including staff selection and training; planning, assigning and directing work; conducting performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
7. Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices and ensures that employees observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injuries or damage; schedules periodic safety meetings and solicits recommended changes to improve safety procedures.
8. Other duties may be assigned.
