Are you ready to Fast Forward Your Future? We are currently seeking a Senior Proposal Manager. This position is located in Columbus, OH. Position Responsibilities Work in partnership with Capture Managers to stay abreast of upcoming strategic, high-visibility opportunities; support analysis of customers, competition, internal capabilities and risks, and articulation of discriminating win strategies and solutions Analyze Government solicitations (including RFPs, amendments, and follow-on requests for information) Develop detailed Proposal Management Plans (including outlines, schedules, compelling win themes, responsibility assignment matrices, and templates) to provide guidance to proposal teams, including team members or subcontractors Lead kickoff meeting and subsequent team meetings and resolve any conflicts or issues Read and review all writing plans/storyboards and written proposal sections to ensure the integration of the win strategy and compliance with requirements; provide constructive feedback to writing teams Organize independent Red Team reviews and determine approach to responding to Red Team recommendations Lead and participate in the conceptualization of oral presentation slides and scripts; coach oral presentation teams on delivery and responding to customer questions Manage the proposal schedule to ensure all interim milestones are met and the final proposal is delivered on time Quality check all proposal volumes and sections for integration of the proposal win strategy and for accuracy and consistency across all parts of the submission Lead all post-proposal-submittal activities, including responses to Evaluation Notices and Final Proposal Revisions as well as requests for debriefings and internal lessons learned Keep upper management apprised of proposal details Mentor Proposal Managers and other proposal support staff THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: In-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Federal Competitive Procurement Process, including the Source Selection Process Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, business, or a related field 10+ years of successfully managing major $100M+ proposals and directing large, multi-contractor proposal development teams Outstanding leadership, written and oral communication, teamwork, organizational, and motivational capabilities Track record of winning large strategic Federal contracts High integrity in handling competition-sensitive information THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: Proficiency in use of SharePoint sites as a tool for team collaborations Eligibility for Government Security Clearance (if required) Willingness to travel occasionally Master's degree BENEFITS Battelle's competitive benefits program includes comprehensive medical and dental care, matching 401K, employee pension, tuition reimbursement, work/life balance, paid time off, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, and other benefits that help provide financial protection for you and your family.
