AmeriCorps Vista: City of Philadelphia Department of Commerce Business Outreach Associate

This position will be responsible for bolstering Commerce's outreach to immigrant business communities and connecting local immigrant-owned businesses to technical assistance and business services provided through Commerce and its partners. Key partners will include technical assistance providers, community development corporations (CDCs) and business/merchant associations (BAs). This individual will report to Shinjoo Cho, Technical Assistance and Business Outreach Manager of Commerce. This is a one year position.

Benefits include: Monthly stipend of approximately $950. Temporary forbearance or deferment of repayment of qualifying federal student loans. End of service educational award of $5,350 or stipend of $1,500.
