This position will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing monitoring of service provider activities and contracts that serve youth, low income adults and dislocated workers through the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and other funding. Service provider activities may include career planning, work readiness training, referral and support into education, training and employment, as well as a range of youth development services. Service providers are State Technical Schools and Colleges, proprietary schools, community-based organizations, Adult Education, alternative schools, public school systems, etc.
Requires information and data review primarily through a State-supported MIS system that employs WebFOCUS software for reporting purposes, both for the monitoring assignment and for overall Division performance and services; this software must be learned and mastered.
