We are performing an executive search for a national social enterprise, which leads a $30Billion financial sector serving emerging opportunity markets. The organizations core purpose is to align capital with social, economic and political justice through financing, capacity building, policy, and brand marketing. They provide financing in non-conforming urban, rural, and native communities to support job creation, small business growth, affordable housing, childcare, charter schools, and community facilities.
The COO will direct the business operations of this nonprofit, enabling the President & CEO to focus on external policy and strategic growth opportunities. This position involves operational management, program oversight, execution of current and new business development programs, and disciplined integration of fast-paced business lines. The COO reports to the President/CEO and manages five executives (including the CFO). A minimum of 7 -10 years in a relevant management roles of a financial service, consulting, government service, community development, or similar organization in either profit or nonprofit areas.
