Datatel Internship Deadline Extension

Dear Colleagues,
Great news!!! The deadline for applying for the Datatel Software Development Division Summer 2010 Internship has been extended to Friday, February 12, 2010! Please note that all applicants should be juniors with an anticipated graduation date of December 2010 or May 2011.
We are presently seeking three types of interns:
Programming Interns
 To be considered for this opportunity, you should be pursuing a Computer Science or MIS degree and have successfully completed several programming classes. Prior hands-on internship experience in a corporate environment is a plus.
Quality Assurance Interns
 To be considered for this opportunity, you should be pursuing a Computer Science, Information Technology degree or a Business degree with a focus in technology. Exposure in either accounting, human resources or finance is a plus. This person should be detail-oriented, analytical and thorough with good written and communication skills. You must be fluent in all aspects of MS Office and have experience with web/intranet creation tools.
Technical Writer/Documentation Interns
 To be considered for this opportunity, you should be pursuing a Technical Communication, Professional Writing, or a degree in a related field. You should be comfortable working with computers (word processing, graphics, and desktop publishing software), have successfully completed several technical writing classes and at least one computer programming class (any programming language). This internship is not a fit for a student who mainly enjoys creative writing (such as poetry or fiction), journalism, or types of technical writing other than software documentation (such as proposal writing or medical/scientific writing).
Prior hands-on or internship experience in a corporate environment and development experience is a plus. Students must be able to work full time from May 17 to August 6, 2010 at our headquarters office in Fairfax, Virginia. Interested students should send all application information to HR@datatel.com.
