SALARY RANGE: $38,854 to $58,115
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists staff in compilation, maintenance, input and reporting of data concerned with
budget systems projects; conducts research for budget staff utilizing the Internet, internal research options and
basic budget knowledge. Develops and maintains tracking systems for requisitions; collects data for
management staff and other departmental projects; develops databases and spreadsheets. Completes Banner (online
accounting system) transactions, appropriation transfers, and budget entry. Is responsible for review of
federal and third party contracts, appropriations for federal, state, and foundation contracts, and general budget
compilation. Prepares reports for Director based on research and recommendations; compiles and analyzes data
for use in administering various budget items.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma (or G.E.D.) and 4 years of experience in a job
involving accounting or a related field. One year of college in business administration, accounting or a related
field may substitute for one year of experience. College education may substitute for up to 4 years of
experience. Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred. Degree must be from a college or university that is
accredited by the U.S. Department of Education through the North Central Association of Colleges and
Universities or equivalent region.

GENERAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
