Assignment Manager (Job #200ME): 10TV News HD, Central Ohio’s News Leader, seeks an Assignment Manager to plan and drive hard
news coverage for the number one station in Central Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day news coverage,
executing enterprise coverage, and long-range news planning. Must have exceptional news judgment, be extremely resourceful, and make
enterprising a priority. Must be able to manage assignment editors, assist crews with computer assisted reporting skills, and own breaking
news utilizing satellite and live trucks, and state of the art helicopter. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills
coupled with the ability to work effectively under pressure. This position requires at least three years experience on the assignment desk
and previous supervisory experience.
Weekend Morning Meteorologist/Reporter (Job #200BR): WBNS 10TV, Central Ohio’s News Leader, seeks a weekend morning
meteorologist and reporter. The successful candidate will be responsible for anchoring 10TV’s weekend morning weathercasts and weather
producing and/or weather reporting three days per week. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable of severe weather, possessing
the skills to deliver a dynamic weathercast as well as excellent reporting skills. This position requires previous experience as a television
meteorologist and reporter, familiarity with current television weather systems, techniques and equipment, including live radar. A
bachelor’s degree in meteorology is preferred.
IT/Broadcast Technician (Job #200TB): WBNS-10TV seeks a highly motivated IT/Broadcast Technician who will be responsible for the
maintenance of server based broadcast equipment. The successful candidate will handle project installation and layout of television and
network equipment, maintain and repair IT based broadcast equipment, support IT functions including company intranet and software
development as well as cross train on all traditional and developing broadcast technologies. This position requires a minimum of two years
experience in IT maintenance and installation, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Three to five years experience in
broadcast television maintenance and a bachelor’s degree in IT related field strongly preferred. Visio Drawing and Mac, and Microsoft
preferred. Willingness to obtain CDL and ability to take on-call rotation and to work unusual hours, including holidays and weekends,
required.
Photographer (Job #200SB): The #1 station in the 32nd market seeks a photojournalist who is passionate about great storytelling.
WBNS-10TV, Central Ohio’s News Leader, is committed to enterprising, hard news coverage. We’ve been awarded the ONPA station of
the year 6 times and we would like to win a 7th. Must be creative, aggressive, a collaborator and journalist, non-linear and P2 experience a
plus. Must fly in our state of the art helicopter and learn how to operate our FLIR stabilized camera.
Producer (Job #200DM): WBNS-10TV, Central Ohio’s News Leader, is looking for a dynamic producer to join our award- winning team.
Candidate must know how to differentiate and showcase a newscast that is urgent and relevant to the viewer. WBNS-10TV has all of the
tools necessary to produce a compelling newscast- SNG truck, multiple ENG trucks, station-owned helicopter with pilot, investigative and

Staff Engineer (Job #100GA): RadiOhio has an immediate opening for a staff engineer to work in our state of the art, fully digital
facility. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include assisting in the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of
broadcast equipment including ENCO DAD automation systems, Klotz Digital audio routing system, studio equipment, remote equipment,
telephone systems, computer networks and servers, satellite downlinks, AM, FM & C-Band transmission systems and related equipment.
The ideal candidate will have an associate or bachelor degree, or equivalent experience and/or certification, in broadcast electronics,
telecommunications or related field, above average computer and verbal skills, and the ability to perform repairs at the component level.
Ability to multi-task and work various hours and days, including some weekends and holidays. Must be available for on-call status 24/7.
Preference given to candidates holding a Society of Broadcast Engineers certification and a combination Broadcast/IT background.
