Wittenberg Student Positions in Community Service

The Community Service Office is currently seeking qualified Wittenberg University students to fill Community Service Coordinator positions starting in the Fall of 2010. Potential Coordinators should have a cumulative GPA of a 2.5, should have successfully completed Community Service 100 (by August 2010), and should be in good social standing. The position requires excellent communication skills and organizational skills, as well as an enthusiasm about service.

Coordinators are the heart of the Community Service Office. They serve as the primary resource to a group of students registered for Community Service 100. They orient students to the community service policies and procedures, help students find appropriate service placements and help the students reflect on what they have learned from the service experience. They become closely acquainted with Springfield/Clark County non-profit organizations and develop communication, leadership and problem solving skills. This campus job will allow you to walk out of the Wittenberg door with many advantages.

To apply, please stop by the Community Service Office (102 Shouvlin) and pick up an application, two reference forms and a list of duties and expectations of this position.
The requested information must be returned to the Community Service Office by February 26th.
