Once again the Ohio State Fair will be offering exciting internships for three qualified public relations/communications students. I am asking your help in finding the most qualified candidates for these positions.
The internships are paid and offer great on-the-job training. For example, interns will assist with media promotions, write for and design newsletters, write news releases and work directly with the hundreds of media personnel who cover the Fair.
I am looking for candidates with three years of college education in public relations, communications or journalism. Computer skills and desktop publishing experience, in particular, are also desirable. Interested students should send their resumes along with three writing samples to me by Monday, March 1. Interviews will take place shortly thereafter, and work can begin in May, if the intern’s schedule permits.
