Internships available at the BLM Anasazi Heritage Center - Summer 2010

Applications are now being accepted for Summer 2010 Internships at the
BLM-Anasazi Heritage Center. Three internships are available in Curation,
Visitor's Services and Exhibits. The deadline for applying in Feb. 26,
2010.

The application process is a bit different then in years past. The
internships are now sponsored by the National Council for Preservation
Education (NCPE). The application, instructions for applying and the list
of all internships being offered through this program are available at
http://www.preservenet.cornell.edu/employ/ncpe.html
Applicants must use this process to apply.

Both National Park Service and Department of the Interior internships are
listed. The specific announcements for the Anasazi Heritage Center are
toward the bottom of the page under Department of the Interior
Internships. The Anasazi Heritage Center Internships include a stipend and
housing. Individuals are responsible for their own travel, and need a
personal vehicle (there is no public transportation in the area).
