The Program Assistant in the Youth and Young Adult Ministries Group of Vocation and Education Program Unit will have an opportunity to use his or her gifts in high-quality, transformational churchwide ministry with youth and young adults. This includes but is not limited to work in support of Campus Ministry, Lutheran Student Movement, Outdoor Ministry, Young Adult Ministry and Youth Ministry. This two year term position lets you explore the world of ministry with youth and young adults through a variety of ways including: event planning and staffing, communications and marketing, content development, and leadership development. The staff member will work with experienced program professionals in a variety of networks to explore and refine your skills through hands-on work and reflection surrounding ministry with youth and young adults. –Chicago-based
