Special Thai Project April 2010


· Program entry cost $600 non-refundable admin fee confirms your place on the course

· Complete the 4-week Teaching English with TEFL International to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Certificate training period (see below for more details)

· Fly to Bangkok (your airfare costs are additional to the admin fee)

· Free airport pick-up and transfer to your accommodation in Ban Phe Thailand

· Complete a one term teaching placement in a school in Thailand. TEFL International will find you a teaching placement in a school in Thailand.

· You will be earning 30,000 baht per month (currently US$ 900+). Your housing will either be included, or you will be given a housing allowance.

· Upon completion of your teaching placement, you will receive your TESOL Certificate.

· Start date Sunday 4th April 2010

Entry Requirements:

There are very few entry requirements, but participants of the program MUST:

1. Be from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa

2. Hold a bachelors degree (minimum)

Required Documents

In addition to the above entry requirements, participants MUST submit the following documents:

1. CV/Resume

2. Police clearance certificate

3. Original degree certificate

4. Original University transcript

5. Original Verification letter from your University registrar

You will need to produce all of the original documents with you in order for us to process your work permit. By placing your admin fee payment, you agree to comply with these conditions and provide the required documents.

Passport validity

Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Thailand and should have sufficient blank pages for stamping of your Thai non-immigrant stamp. Please check both of these details now so that you have enough time to apply for a new passport should you need to.
