SUMMER TRANSITIONAL PROGRAM LEADER (1) AND ASSISTANTS (2)
Positions run June 7, 2010 through August 6, 2010 (Must also be available the week of May 24th )
7:15am - 3:15am, Monday - Friday
POSTING DATE: MARCH 26, 2010 THROUGH APRIL 8, 2010 OR UNTIL FILLED
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Post-High School or some college education preferred
Experience working with MR/DD individuals preferred
Valid Driver's License
POST-OFFER OF HIRE REQUIREMENTS:
Negative Results Of A Two-Step Mantoux TB Test And Drug Screening
Satisfactory Results Of Local And State Records Checks
Satisfactory Physical Examination Including Work-Related Lifting Test After Offer Of Hire
POST-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Maintain valid Driver’s License; CPR/First Aid Training; Behavior Management Training (Do The
Right Thing); Van Training; UI/MUI Reporting
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision, assists individuals between the ages of 16 and 21, with daily living skills on a limited
basis; ensures health, safety and dignity of individuals; plans, implements and assists individuals with work study
and leisure activities. Implements day outings within the community as scheduled.
COMPENSATION: Leader - $10.00/hour; Assistant - $9.00/hour
