JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Battelle’s Avionics & Electronics Modernization Technical Sales Representative will be able to quickly learn Battelle’s Service Life Extension products/services in the Avionics Systems and Technology Refreshment area. Must have the ability to quickly understand technical solutions and effectively present the value added to potential customers. Primary responsibility will be to develop new accounts, adjacent business opportunities for existing accounts, and identify new market opportunities for Battelle NSGB. He/she will assist in identifying customer issues and effectively engage internal staff in responding to customer needs. Our technical sales rep will be responsible for developing and executing go-to market plans for these areas in order to secure new accounts and re-enforce long-term strategic relationships.

Our team is looking for a detail-oriented, strategy-focused, team player who is highly motivated and able to simultaneously manage multiple projects and stakeholders. This individual must be a strategic-thinker, skilled in giving presentations, leading meetings, efficient in time management, able to multi-task, and well organized.

· Creates and executes an effective and prioritized business strategy for assigned Customers and initiates contacts with potential customers to broaden the client base building a robust funnel of opportunities capable of meeting and exceeding sales goals in excess of $10MM annually. Key skills required include superior presentation skills, ability to demonstrate technical hardware, and communication/negotiation skills when necessary.

· Concentrates ~60% of selling time on discovering new clients, ~20% on existing client maintenance, ~10% of time interfacing with technical team to understand capabilities, products, and offerings, including process improvement activities and ~10% spent on competitive analyses.
· Provides market research and competition information and status to technical and business development team.
· Authors & presents applicable business case via net present value to a wide audience.
Performs capture management and proposal development on high value, highly technical programs.
· Communicates and works closely with the existing internal business development and operations teams (all technical and support relationships) to develop proposals and keep each
other informed throughout the selling process.
· Prepares marketing material and/or input to corporate/global business marketing material. This may include briefings, literature, input to technical white papers, brochures, and
multi-media (including video, web page, etc.) formats.
· Builds trust, communicates effectively, executes sales, focuses on the customer, collaborate with others and solves problems creatively while demonstrating high integrity.
· Utilizes sales reporting tools (CRM) provided to support region goals and objectives. Ability to identify, track, and report metrics with regards to business development activity.
· Ability to quickly learn Battelle’s Avionics Systems and Technology Refresh products, processes, offerings, and services to identify corresponding customer needs, markets, and
analyze competition with respect to our technology offerings in order to facilitate increased sales. · Works with internal business development team members and Tech Refresh team to continuously improve processes, business tools and marketing strategies.
· Participates in a cross-functional, strategic team focused on developing technology refreshment opportunities over a wide range of clients and markets.

THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
· Possesses a bachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific or technical discipline (preferably electrical, aerospace, or mechanical engineering, physics, or related)
· Be able to demonstrate a successful track record of progressive sales experience with a minimum of 10-15 years in marketing to Department of Defense or Defense Contractors within
avionics, electronics, or mechanical engineering within a design and manufacturing environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical support (engineering and analysis) for Battelle's Structural Life Extension team whose primary mission is to extend the structural life of our client's existing hardware systems. Initially individual will work under the supervision of a senior level dynamics systems engineer, but are expected (3 to 5 years) grow into the role of lead dynamics systems engineer.
• In addition, individual will grow into the role of providing technical support in the area of instrumentation/data acquisition.
• Individual will work with senior staff in identifying project opportunities, developing cost and time estimates, writing proposals, performing or directing technical activities, writing reports, and preparing and delivering presentations to clients and internal executive staff.
• Individual will perform analytical studies involving the developing of equations of motion that describe the dynamic behavior of a vehicle, structure, or machine; programming the equations in a suitable code, and planning and conducting simulation studies.
• Individual will support laboratory and field test programs involving the installation of instrumentation, collection of data, and analysis of that data, typically for the purposes of characterizing the loading environment, evaluating dynamic behavior, failure analyses, and/or qualification.
• Individual will support equipment development teams in developing effective shock and vibration isolation systems for operation in hostile environments
• Individual will work closely with structural integrity analysis teams in failure analyses of a wide range of mechanical systems.

Our National Security Global Business is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer. This position is located in Columbus, OH.

Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience. A full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401k, and pension plan will be provided. Limited relocation support is available.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will take a lead role in the specification and design of mechanical components and systems in a multi-disciplinary team environment, working with designers, fabricators and other engineering staff, most often for customers in Department of Defense organizations. They will be required to generate and deliver high-quality presentations and written reports describing their work. With minimal supervision, they will execute design tasks under schedule and budget constraints and be required to report on the status of those activities. The candidate will also contribute to marketing and proposal activities as needed.

Additionally, the selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; moderate travel required (not likely to exceed 25%).

THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Five years experience in design and fabrication of mechanical components or systems with a development team, beginning with guidelines or specifications, and continuing through testing and implementation
• Familiarity with ASME Y14 and proficiency with ASME Y14.5
• Demonstrated success in a design for production type environment
• Familiarity working within ISO 9001:2008 or AS9100
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Sole US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain DOD Top Secret Security clearance

• Provide technical support (engineering and analysis) for Battelle's Structural Life Extension team whose primary mission is to extend the structural life of our client’s existing hardware systems. Initially individual will work under the supervision of a senior level dynamics systems engineer, but is expected (3 to 5 years) grow into the role of lead dynamics systems engineer.

SALARY RANGE: $45,552 to $68,140
RESPONSIBILITIES: Enforces airport ordinances and FAA regulations applicable to airport users, tenants,
contractors and the public. Coordinates the building maintenance and housekeeping staff and activities at
Dayton International Airport, Dayton Wright Brothers Airport and the Dayton Heliport and coordinates these
efforts on a 24-hour, 7-day per week basis. Assists the Operations/Maintenance Coordinator in the development
of specifications and bid appraisal processes, for building maintenance services and equipment, to ensure
maximum necessary service at the lowest cost. Supervises the runway checks, airfield signage, terminal
cleaning, general repair, staff services, heating and air conditioning equipment and structural problems that may
arise.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in airport management, engineering, or related field and 2
years of airport operations experience. Must possess a valid driver's license at time of appointment. Must
possess a valid Ohio Driver's License within 30 days of appointment and maintain said license as a condition of
employment.

through the North Central Association of Colleges and Universities (or equivalent region).
