Our Corporate Information Technology (IT) Group is currently seeking an IT Project Manager. This position is located at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, manages small projects, medium projects, and/or phases of larger projects. Responsible for success of overall project delivery, including management of project team, development and tracking of project schedule, management of project issues and risks, and
financial management of project. Must be competent with Project Management methodologies. Must have necessary communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization and across Corporate IT (CIT) teams. Other responsibilities include:

* Reporting project health, issues, and risks to CIT PMO
* Management of project resources in a matrix environment
* Communication to business stakeholders
* Defining and building project team
* Development and execution of Microsoft Project Plans
* Adhering to CIT PMO processes and procedures throughout the project lifecycle
* Estimating project proposals

THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:

* 5-8 years Project Management experience
* Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems or related
* Knowledge of Information Systems Principles and Methodologies
* Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of organization
* Ability to lead, but also work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment
* Strong planning and organizational skills
* Experience managing projects with Microsoft Project
* U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance(s)

THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:

* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
* Experience with CA Clarity or another Project Portfolio Management tool
* Familiarity or experience with Agile concepts
