DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We have an immediate opening for a Client Executive II (DoD - Midwest). As a Client Executive II, you are responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing sales opportunities through individual ownership and coordinated marketing support activities with inside sales teams, field sales teams and technology teams. A CE develops consultative selling tactics to educate customers and employees on the application of current technology and professional services using various products and services, call on and close midlevel customers, as well as research, uncover, understand and analyze agency missions, budgets, priorities and programs. In addition, you will maintain a healthy and positive relationship with new and future customers in order to facilitate future sales and provide additional inside sales support to manage accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- This position may be based in any of the following states: OH, IL, IN, MO, KS, MI, OK - heavy regional travel will be required.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key, high level decision makers within a specified account territory (in this case Air Force primarily, with possible Army and Navy accounts as well).
- Understand and communicate GTSI's value proposition and service offerings.
- Implement a sales strategy to promote GTSI's selling capabilities and accurately forecast for new business.
- Manage the sales related details required to ensure on time implementation of products and services.
- Make presentations to prospective customers to demonstrate GTSI's products and services.
- Work with Inside Sales Representative to identify and uncover qualified opportunities.
- Prepare and prioritize sales planning and reporting results and obtain revenue goals in support of the organizations objectives.
- Build and maintain the CRM Customer Database.
- Build strong relationships with GTSI vendor partner sales representatives.
- Develop and manage a forecast and pipeline.
- Responsible for working with Bids & Proposals on outlining the details of each deal won to determine bid actions.
- Collaborate with GTSI resources to successfully deliver a solution to the customer's problem.
- Know and communicate two or three of GTSI's products and services and have ability to craft a solution to specifically fit the customers need.
- 7 - 10 years of outside sales experience required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior experience in an inside sales environment preferred.
- Experience selling technology services and solutions to Air Force customer required (additional DoD sales a plus).
- Successful track record of quota overachievement preferred.
- Must have written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with not only the internal customers but also external customers and vendors.
- Knowledge of utilizing Salesforce.com a plus.
- Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite.
- Prior work experience selling high end solutions required.
- Must have the ability to present to an audience of C - level executives.
- Focused, driven and motivated to increase revenue for company.
- Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite.
- Must be available to work non-standard hours during peak season times.
