We are currently seeking several Drivers with CDL. CDL drivers will be required to operate commercial vehicles over the public highways, including operating within private customer sites and facilities.In addition, our Drivers will also perform setup, decontamination, teardown, and other necessary tasks as directed by the DM or Project Supervisor. They will also operate the equipment in a safe and correct manner as directed by the DM, Project Supervisor and DOT regulations. Execute waste handling including sampling, movement, packaging, and consolidation. Adhere to the requirements of the project and all communicated work instructions in order to maintain the job site safe and in full compliance with all regulations
Provide assististance outside the scope of operating a truck maybe requested during peak work times. All drivers are to be flexible and assist operations during these times.<
Position Requirements
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. At least two (2) years of driving experience with a valid Commercial Driver’s License
3. Current endorsements on CDL
4. Haz Mat Certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Pass a pre-employment/DOT medical exam and pre-employment and DOT drug tests
Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned. Specifically, lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work in adverse work conditions, varying from very hot to very cold.
Able to work in very wet environments as well as very dry environments.
Physically capable of standing, shoveling and performing other types of physical work for long periods of time.
Capable of working long shifts under adverse conditions (up to 16 hours a day, and up to 14 days in a row).
Ability to safely handle up to a 6 inch vacuum hose (with up to 6,500 cubic feet of air moving thru the hose per minute, traveling at speeds of up to 160 MPH).
Medically and physically capable of wearing respirator while performing the above listed work.
100% ability to stay focused on surrounding hazards at all times while performing job
requirements in extremely hazardous work environments (i.e. steel mills, power plants, refineries, chemical plants, etc).
