Details will be emailed to you once you register.For the 2012-2013 school year, the New York City Department of Education is seeking excellent teachers who are, or will be certified in special education, bilingual subjects, all the sciences, ESL and additional certification areas. All certified teachers, or teachers who will be certified by August 30th, 2012, in all subject areas, should apply by the indicated application deadlines, as eligibility to work in our schools rests upon having completed an online application via www.teachnyc.net

Please note: The online application will be launched next week on January 17th, 2012. The final deadline to apply to be eligible to teach in our NYCDOE public schools for the 2012-2013 school year is June 29th, 2012. Please go to www.teachnyc.net to apply. I do recommend that regardless of the indicated deadlines, you complete a high quality online application by April 2nd, 2012 in order to be eligible for consideration for Select Recruits and in order to be eligible to take part in the majority of the New Teacher Finder support opportunities.
