The Regional Sales Manager position is responsible for directing a team of sales representatives focused on a specific geographic market. This position is responsible for coordinating sales activities within that market, partnering with store operations management, and facilitating the growth of other PPG products, such as True Finish and PMC lines.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage the sales activities of stores and sales representatives in the market, achieving sales plan and maintaining expenses set within budgetary guidelines.
· Recruit, develop and motivate sales staff in a highly effective manner.
· Ensure proper development of Sales Reps by identifying training opportunities and by providing a positive coaching model.
· Maintain appropriate pricing levels according to established procedures.
· Analyze territory performance reports and develop strategic sales territory business plans.
· Execute strategic market plans and monitor progress against territory sales goals.
· Manage accounts receivable, customer credit and customer rebate programs per company guidelines.
· Actively call on key accounts and assist Sales Reps as appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS

Directs and supervises Human Resource operations to ensure adherence to statutory requirements, Board policy and agency policy/standards including, but not limited to: administration of Workers’ Comp program and FMLA; benefits administration; development and maintenance of compensation program; development and monitoring of personnel policy; contract monitoring; responding to unemployment claims; participating in labor negotiations; responding to OCRC claims; cooperating with community agencies as appropriate.
Participates as member of Superintendent's Administrative Team in developing and implementing Board wide plans and operational strategies; works with other administrative team members in effective operation of Board programs and activities.
Directs the maintenance of accurate, complete and timely employee medical and personnel records and reports, utilizing paper and electronic information systems. Directs the public records requests and fulfillment for the Board.
Directs, monitors and evaluates agency programs and services to ensure attainment of agency goals and objectives, including but not limited to employee certification and licensing; recruitment; training; separation and risk management. Oversees recruitment and course offerings for independent, waiver and/or Board-certified providers.
