Our National Security Global Business is currently seeking a Interactive Web Applications Developer with a strong technical background in Software Development to work on one of Battelle's Cyber Teams. This position is for full-time work in Columbus OH. Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience. A full benefits package will be provided. Relocation support is available.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop software in C++, C#, Java and/or Javascript/HTML5.
• Develop of multi-touch applications for desktop, web and mobile platforms.
• Document work as well as following and enforcing software configuration management and quality assurance requirements
• Utilize sound task/project management and effective communication skills with coworkers and clients in initiating, planning, executing, and monitoring task activities involving multi-disciplinary teams
• Monitor task progress, manage critical path activities and ensure adherence to key task performance indicators like budget and time

CORE EXPECTATIONS:

• Work on Cyber teams to achieve corporate science and technology objectives
• Ability to lead and work independently and effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Be an effective organizer, have the ability to follow standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines and work with minimal supervision

THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical area.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Proficient in C++, C#, Java, and/or Javascript/HTML5 application development.
• Past experience with graphics, shaders, and/or game programming.

THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Past experience with data visualization, visualizing large data sets.
• Past experience with WebGL.
