Network Coordinator/Producer (Job #100AM): RSN Satellite Services has an immediate opening for conscientious network coordinator/producer. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating master control for RSN as well as audio production for both pre-produced and network broadcasts. RSN and Columbus Blue Jackets traffic functions, coordinating and communicating with affiliate stations, maintaining network database, creating and maintaining podcasting routines and ensuring that website content is accurate and up to date. This is a fast paced position that requires excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in sometimes stressful situations. This position requires at least 3-5 years experience in radio production, proficiency with audio editing (Adobe Audition experience preferred), experience with digital audio delivery systems, radio master control facilities and digital audio routing systems. This position does carry a flexible work schedule and requires the ability to be on call 24/7.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and presenting compelling & clear daily weathercasts, excel in extended severe weather breaking coverage and be responsible for regular franchise reporting. ONN, which has won numerous awards, including AP Best Weather Operation 2011, provides statewide weather coverage, featuring Ohio Weather on the 10’s. This position requires a strong weather background, including but not limited to extensive knowledge of meteorological sciences, proficiency in weather forecasting, solid severe weather experience, excellent computer skills and the ability to deliver a reliable forecast. At least two years experience as a television meteorologist as well as previous reporting experience required. CBM seal or desire and ability to acquire seal strongly preferred.
